🌨️ Minnesota Weather Doesn't Care About Cell Towers
Minnesota gets storms and tornadoes year round. When power goes out, cell sites go down. When networks get overloaded, phones can't connect. A mesh repeater on your property works without the grid, cell carriers, or internet.
📱 Rural Coverage Gaps Are Real
Outlying areas of Alexandria and Douglas County already have dead zones with poor or no cell service. During emergencies those gaps get worse. Your repeater extends coverage for everyone nearby.
🚨 When Emergencies Hit, Communication Is Everything
When cell service goes down, first responders lose track of what is happening, people can't check on their neighbors, and information about road conditions or shelters can't spread. A mesh network keeps people talking when cell service is gone.
🏡 It's Easier Than You Think
A repeater is a small weatherproof box with a solar panel. Mount it on your roof, barn, or garage. It uses very little power and runs on its own after installation. You are adding one more point to a network your neighbors are already using.

🔋 It's Proven Technology
Mesh networks have been used in disasters from the Haiti earthquake to Typhoon Haiyan to restore communication when cell service failed. MeshCore firmware is open source and already running on thousands of nodes across the US.
